by Thomas Stroble | March 21st, 2014

Claudia ZimmerA 59-year-old woman in Norton Shores was robbed on March 20. According to the police, the woman had just finished shopping at a grocery store and was loading her car when a man pulled up and grabbed her purse out of the cart. The woman tried to stop him from taking it before the man in the Pontiac G6 accelerated, pulling her behind the vehicle and throwing her into another car that was parked nearby.

She sustained multiple severe head injuries as a result and many people thought she had simply been struck by the car as it passed her. Police are continuing to look for the suspect that was responsible and there will be more than just criminal charges waiting for him when he is caught.

In addition, the woman will be able to file a civil suit against him and seek damages to help her recover and return to normalcy.
